10. Experience history firsthand! Use a former U.S. President’s home as your study room for the day! Roosevelt House, the former home of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, is located on 65th Street and Park Avenue. It’s home to Hunter College’s Public Policy Institute, and any Hunter student can visit and study there! IMAGE: Hunter College Roosevelt House / Via http://www.roosevelthouse.hunter.cuny.edu/
9. One of the most affordable and best value educations in the country! Hunter College has been ranked among the top Colleges that Create Futures, among many other great accolades. Hunter has its own student-run online radio station, called WHCS, as well as four student-run publications. There are clubs for every student—whether centered on culture, religion, sexual orientation, academics, hobbies, or interests! 3. To say you’ll become part of a tradition is an understatement. With 147 years of history, we have a lot to be proud of. Did you know Hunter is the only college in the country who produced two female Nobel Prize winners in the sciences? Hunter graduates are also your congress members, local legislators, and even pop up on your TV (Dascha Polanco, Orange is the New Black). What will you do with your Hunter degree?
